Atlanta Hawks legend and Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo has his number retired in ATL
The phrase “No, No, No” has become synonomous with perhaps the greatest big man not named Hakeem to ever come out of the continent of Africa to the NBA. Dikembe, known for his enforcer habits within the paint, but more so for his generous heart and compassion and NBA Cares initiatives had a great halftime ceremony last night in Atlanta.
On Tuesday night versus the Boston Celtics, the Hawks held a special halftime ceremony for Dikembe Mutombo and raised his Hawks No. 55 jersey into the rafters of the Phillips Arena. Great ceremony for a even greater person and player. Check out the ceremony above
