Chris Webber
Though he strays from ever speaking about it, Former NBA star Chris Webber released a solo album back in 1999. It is only right considering that as part of Michigan University’s famed “Fab Five,” he helped bring Hip Hop culture to the masses in the early 90s when it came to style of dress and flare on the court. Under the nickname C. Webb, the baller released his debut album 2 Much Drama, which featured guest appearances from Redman and Kurupt. The project’s lead single “Gangsta Gangsta” even cracked the Top 10 Hot Rap Singles chart. The accompanying video also featured cameos a bevy of Hip Hop notables. Though he put the mic down, Webber also dabbled with production, manning the boards for Nas’ “Surviving The Times” and “Blunt Ashes.”
