Seems that NBA fans will have to wait longer for Kyrie Irving‘s return to the court. Reports were that Irving would suit up to take on Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday; however the 23-year-old shot down rumors in a tweet.

Though Irving will not be action tomorrow, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal provided an encouraging update Monday to suggest Irving will come back sooner rather than later.
Reviews of Kyrie Irving's practice today ranged from "very good" to "wow." Still won't play tmrw, but getting harder to keep him off court.

Even though Irving is gearing up for a return, having the first game against Westbrook might change a few things.
