The events surrounding last night’s Thunder vs Clippers match-up were apparently pretty fascinating. First, there was Kevin Durant snapping inadvertently on DeAndre Jordan, and other big men that have terrible free-throw shooting percentages, and Drake getting heckled by a fan shouting Meek Mill-related things at him (and actually reacting to it). Now, footage has surfaced of Westbrook getting momentarily stiffed at the door of popular Los Angeles bar/lounge The Nice Guy because the bouncer didn’t know who he was.
Westbrook handled the awkward situation well, even as the paparazzi snapped away at him and poked fun at his outfit. Eventually, the bouncer let him in–which may or may not have had to do with Westbrook telling him to get the owner–but no harm, no foul. Still, it’s pretty funny for a bouncer in a big city not to know one of the biggest stars in the NBA.
