50 Cent Is Suing Rick Ross For Rapping Over “In Da Club”

Here we go again.

On Thanksgiving and just ahead of the release of his 8th studio album Black Market, Rick Ross dropped Renzel Remixes, a two-disc set of remixes, remakes and classic Ross songs meant to hold fans over until the release of Black Market, which went on to debut in the Billboard 200 Top 10 earlier this month.

One of the songs on Renzel Remixes was “In Da Club,” the Dr. Dre-produced hit from 50 Cent that broke the Queens rapper into the mainstream, and is widely known as one of the biggest rap songs of the 21st century. TMZ is reporting that 50 Cent is now suing Rick Ross for rapping on the song, citing that the song appears on Ross’s mixtape without 50’s permission, and Fif would like Ross to “pony up more than $2 million” for the alleged violation.

If you didn’t already know, this is just another chapter in the long, long story book that is Rick Ross and 50 Cent’s numerous beefs and disagreements, which include diss tracks, taking shots at family members, and of course 50 Cent’s sex tape with Rick Ross’s baby mother, for which the G-Unit head honcho was sued $7 million.
