Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliot Cited For Suspended License Following Car Crash

Ohio State star running back Ezekiel Elliot was cited over the weekend for driving on a suspended license following a car crash in Columbus, OH.

TMZ sports reports that Elliott was cited for not having an operator’s license, failure to control and driving under a suspended license.

According to Columbus Police Department, the accident occurred around 1:30 PM Sunday on State Route 315. Elliott told police he hit a puddle, hydroplaned, and lost control of the vehicle hitting another car.

Elliot responded to the allegations by retweeting an article claiming that his license was suspended to due to unpaid fines.

Elliot is expected to appear in court in January.
