As of late, one of the main topics up for debate has been the armed occupation of a federal building in Oregon.
Naturally, social media has done a better job at dissecting the issue at hand than most major news outlets.
The focal point of discussion seems to be that this group of militants have yet to suffer any true consequences because of the color of their skin.
Calling themselves the Citizens for Constitutional Freedom, the group is comprised of white anti-government protesters, and have made it clear that they are armed and ready to die.
So why such a lax response by government officials when unarmed Black Lives Matter protesters in Ferguson were greeted by the country’s National Guard? Why is there no call to defeat the domestic terrorism currently going on?
Well, we hear the double standards loud and clear, and these next 7 tweets only confirm what we know to be true.
Did I miss the call for the national guard in Oregon? I recall them in Ferguson and Baltimore. #OregonUnderAttack

FYI – If you're occupying govt property with signs, it's a protest. If you're occupying with guns, it's terrorism. #OregonUnderAttack

Imagine for a moment the response to the Black Panthers taking over a federal building in response to #TamirRice's murder #OregonUnderAttack
