You have features out with Raheem Devaughn and several other notable artists. How do you feel your campaign is going in terms of your future success in the industry?man it’s moving like I predicted u have to say true to yourself nothing happened over night and most people I have features with its family I new before they was on so when it’s time to bang out its not a lot of politics like when u working with a artist u don’t no trying to rent him from a label for feats
Word is that black thought and guru are your mentors, where did you first meet them?
Man I met black thought in 1992 I tryed to battle him and he respected my grind mind u I’m 15 catching a bus to any roots show I could get to just to rap for 5 mins and and after that he took me under his wing and on tour and that’s were I met guru on the okay player tour we got tight cause his hype man had got lock up in New Mexico mid tour and I became his hype man for the rest of the tour guru was drinking at that Time me to so its story’s for days but he was the first person to believe in my production and put on the bald head slick album I miss that dude by the way FUCK SOLAR
You have an album entitled “The Last Ronin” where was your thought process when you recorded this album? MAN JUST HARD RAW STUFF ALL BOOM BAP I DO ALL MY PRODUCTION ME ARE MY COUSIN C.porter I just wanted to drop a boom BAP project in this climate of bullshit I’m already working on my squad the league of shadows album as we speak
