The cat’s out the bag. Congratulations are officially in order, as Kehlani and Kyrie Irving have decided to take their current romance public. With Valentine’s Day just over a month away, the Cleveland Cavalier went on Instagram following his team’s victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday to share the delightful news.
“Nothing else really matters when I’m with you…and that’s when I knew I had someone special,” swooned the awestruck NBA star. Following his lovely display of affection, Kehlani – whose project, You Should Be Here, has been nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards next month – chimed in with a heartfelt sentiment of her own in response. “And that’s why you’re a king. You’ve shown me so much in so little time.. lost faith in alotta things, but lots have been restored,” she affirmed, adding that she’s all smiles while in his presence.
