Gosha Rubchinskiy Brings Reebok Back at Paris Fashion Week

Reebok Back

Lauded high end streetwear and costume designer Gosha Rubchinskiy selected a completely vintage 80’s footwear option to appear in conjunction with his latest runway presentation. After incorporating the Reebok Ex-O-Fit His into the Gosha Spring/Summer 2016 lookbook, the designer choose the retro kicks to epitomize his eponymous labels fresh new aesthetic.

Operating from a post Soviet Russian perspective, Gosha’s designs reference the Russian youth’s rebellious flare and fashion. The hip hop community has heavily gravitated towards completely embracing the designer with the ASAP mob championing this wave. Instead of possessing the usual Reebok branding on the side panel near the laces, it’s been replaced with “PACCBET” which translates to “sunrise”.  The vintage 80’s sneakers also appeared during the show in black.  Additionally, a low top cut of Reebok’s athletic Ex-O-Fit will come in both black and white.  At his most recent show in Paris, premiering a new set of retro Reeboks on the runway, Gosha Rubchinskiy is obviously excited by trends of yesteryear while he continues to set the trends of today.
