Odd future frontman Tyler the Creator possesses multiple facets of creativity, one of which is idea contribution to an eponymous clothing label. The Golf Wang clothing label, one of ostentatious graphic design and throwback inspired apparel, has revealed its latest efforts at captivating its style conscious youth fanbase. For it Spring/Summer 2016 collection lookbook, Golf Wang has drafted a few models, dressed them up in a selection of bright hues and smartly asked them to comment on what makes them each smile. Among these models is global superstar and rap icon A$AP Rocky who’s penchant for the female sex is touched upon, while Tyler poses facetiously underneath a colored quote about the power of music and conversely the all of maple syrup.
Aptly titled “What Makes You Smile”, the next season of Golf Wang features smiley faced adorned and polka dotted basics while offering a uniquely retro vibe. Outerwear pieces such as a pair of green overalls and a pink jacket demonstrate a bit of diversity within the clothing group.
The collection will be released at the Golf Wang website on Jan. 30.
