After premiering the project’s first official single, “Summer Sixteen,” during today’s 14th episode of OVO Sound Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1 – and proceeding to run it back three additional times for good measure – Drake continued to provide further details regarding the current rollout of his upcoming fifth solo album, Views From the 6.
“Just felt it was that time to start setting the tone,” explained Drizzy, whom insists that he’s working overtime to finish the LP. Although he remained tight-lipped as far as an exact date is concerned, the 6 God did reveal that Views will be dropping in April – an ode of course to the 416 area code of his hometown, Toronto. The natural-born competitor also acknowledged the slew of other albums scheduled to drop in the interim, saying that he’s “ready to see who’s playing in the league this year.”
