It’s been a little over a year and a half year since TDE’s Ab-Soul released his third studio album, These Days and it appears he might be getting restless.
Today [February 8, 2016] he took to Twitter to voice his frustration with the lack of his new music being released, tweeting “Preciate everybody that’s been supporting for the LONGTERM. I’m tryin man…” He followed up with a comical metaphor, saying “This bench is gettin warm as fucc tho mayne.”
It was evident this wasn’t your normal “blame the label situation” when TDE CEO Top Dawg replied to Soul’s tweet, writing: “when i put u in the game u better be on fire n*gga….”
TDE’s stacked roster includes SZA, Schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, Jay Rock and not to mention that Kendrick Lamar guy. Kendrick and Jay Rock were the only TDE artists to release albums in 2015, but Isaiah Rashad and Schoolboy Q have projects slated to release during the first quarter of the year.
Take a look at all of the black lip pastor’s tweets below and check out a track that Soul jokingly leaked last year.
