Fox 2000 is cooking up a film adaptation to Margot Lee Shetterly’s novel, Hidden Figures: The Story of the African-American Women Who Helped Win the Space Race.
Empire star Taraji P. Henson will have the honor of portraying Katherine Johnson. Johnson served as a mathematician behind the momentous launch of astronaut John Glenn into space.
St. Vincent director Ted Melfi is set to helm the film, with production from Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Donna Gigliotti.
