Current Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams was in the news earlier this week after he went social media and released the official paperwork sent to him by the Carolina Panthers last season notifying him of his release from the team last offseason. Shortly afterward, a follower told him that he would be respected if he joined the New England Patriots.
A seemingly harmless tweet to say the least, but Williams took the opportunity to lay into the Patriots, especially their head coach Bill Belichick. He went on to call the franchise “cheaters,” also going on to to say that Patriots QB Tom Brady is the only person who likes Belichick. Check out the tweets below.
