Allen Iverson Wants To Meet Post Malone

Post Malone has created quite a name for himself following the release of his single “White Iverson” last year. In the song, he compares himself to cultural icon Allen Iverson, who was dubbed NBA’s Rookie of the Year in 1997 and the league’s MVP in 2001.

Meanwhile some people like Earl Sweatshirt are critical of the certified platinum single, Iverson told the Editor-in-Chief of Sole Collector he was honored the Dallas rapper made a song about him and said he did an “awesome job”:

I want to meet him. He did an awesome job. I was just telling my friend on the way over here that when we get in the car, we hear [‘White Iverson’] at least like 10 times a day. It definitely gets a lot of record play around here. And it’s just an honor for him to make a song with my name in it.

Maybe they can finally meet and play a game of one-on-one?
