High School Student is Punished For “Shouting” Metro Boomin’s Producer Drop

Scorching producer Metro Boomin has changed his producer drop to a Future line from Drake and Future’s “Jumpman,” and total chaos has broken loose. The line–“if Young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gonna shoot you”–has become fodder for memes, funny videos and GIFs all across social media, and his already cult-like following seems to have strengthened in numbers since the new tag was revealed on Kanye West‘s The Life of Pablo album.

Unfortunately for this kid, not everyone is totally in tune with Metro’s new slogan, and they probably should’ve known that of all people, a high school teacher wouldn’t go for that phrase being thrown around. A 12th grade student received the following referral after “shouting” the producer tag at their teacher, and likely being crowned a hero for having the guts to do it. On a more serious note, it was a silly move. Considering America’s rising amount of “active shooter” situations and its continuing trend of school shootings, teachers have a right to not find humors in incidents like this.

That being said, it looks like a future Metro Boomin mixtape cover to us.
