In what will be the most prized free agent signing since LeBron James‘s infamous “Decision,” Kevin Durant has already been swamped with questions about where his potential landing spot could be. So far, the Golden State Warriors have been the rumored landing spot. But what we can rule out is any possibility of Durant going to join Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks.
Per the NY Daily News:
Forget that the Knicks have an unresolved situation at coach, they’ll also need to get creative with the roster just to free up enough cap space for a max free agent. A source told The News that the biggest fish in the summer pond, Kevin Durant, does not consider the Knicks as a destination.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will still be the main principle spot for Durant, but with reports the Thunder will have to reach the NBA Finals for Durant to stay, they may be looking at an uphill battle from here.
