After playing 10 years in the NBA with various teams including the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls, Nate Robinson announced last week that he is very interested in trying out for NFL teams. Though he stands at 5’9”, playing cornerback in the NFL didn’t seem all that far-fetched considering he was a standout corner in college at Washington. His pro football aspirations have hit the back burner now that Robinson has officially signed with the Israeli basketball club Hapoel Jerusalem.
Landing in Israel today, Robinson was swarmed by a mob of fans who were elated and chanting his name.

Though he was not called by any NFL teams, Robinson says that he still plans on playing pro football when he is finished in Israel.
I asked Nate Robinson about the NFL: “After I get back, I’ma get ready, train, and go to the NFL.” https://t.co/MlulO2abYa
