Boxer Adrien Broner Wanted By Police After Allegedly Beating And Robbing A Man At Gunpoint

Champion boxer Adrien Broner is most known for his pre-fight antics but now he is getting the wrong type of attention from Cincinnati police. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Broner and another man were having a high stakes bowling competition when things took a turn for the worst. Apparently, the incident took place on January 21st at 3:30AM at a Cincinnati area bowling ally where Broner bet and lost thousands of dollars to the man.

The victim tells police that Broner was infuriated after he decided to call it a night and go home with his winnings. Sources go on to say that the boxer was waiting for him outside of the bowling ally and punched him. Things further escalated when Broner allegedly:

Retrieved a handgun from his vehicle, approached the victim, demanded money, then struck [the victim] in the face with a closed fist a second time, this time causing the victim to be rendered unconscious.

Broner was then observed taking money out of the victim’s pockets while he was unconscious before fleeing the scene.

Reports say that the alleged victim was not only hospitalized but needed stitches to close a massive gash on his chin. No word yet from Broner or his camp. He is currently set to fight Ashley Theophane in Washington, D.C. on April 1.
