Big Sean turned 28 yesterday on Good Friday–the religious holiday, not New Kanye West Music Day–and decided to make it a G.O.O.D. Friday with the release of a new song, “Get My Sh*t Together.”
The song, produced by Mr. Frank and Tommy Brown, is the first song Sean’s released in quite a while, due in large part to a hectic touring schedule (he supported J. Cole on the 2014 Forest Hills Drive tour for a good chunk of 2015), but with a new album on the horizon, it looks like he’s ready to get going again.
Do remember, newly minted president of G.O.O.D. Music Pusha T says we should expect a new Big Sean album before we even receive Pusha’s King Push album. We’re expecting a Spring release for King Push, so Sean Don season could be much closer than we originally thought.
