Early this morning, what appeared to be a couple leaked Drake songs leaked to the internet, one featuring Popcaan, and one featuring a female vocalist, who was unidentified at the time.
Now, we know that the song was an unfinished version of a song by Babeo Baggins that has since been finished, and was just released by Baggins herself: “Things I Forgot To Do,” featuring Drizzy. For those unfamiliar with Baggins, she began as an extremely popular artist on Tumblr, as part of a larger collective called The Barf Troop, a rapping and singing quartet that recently performed at Trillectro Music Festival, and has caught the attention of pop stars like Drake and Ariana Grande.
According to the 22-year-old artist and Tumblr fanatic, she’d been working on the song–which is a cover of legendary German rocker Nico‘s “These Days”–with Drake for over a year, and in lieu of this morning’s leak, decided to officially release it.
