Royce Da 5’9″ has kept quite busy this Spring, releasing his Trust The Shooter EP last week, and prepping his forthcoming Layers album, his first solo LP since 2011’s Success Is Certain.
Layers will be light on major features, but two of them land on the same song, the album’s title track “Layers,” which features Pusha T and Rick Ross. Each of the three take their turn on Mr. Porter‘s enchanting instrumental; Mr. Porter produced a sizable chunk of Layers, his six credits are more than any other producer can lay claim to.
The album will be out on April 15, but in the meantime, make sure you take the time to indulge in some of the best raps around below.
