Kobe Bryant’s days of playing basketball are over but he is still causing a stir at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, though indirectly. During last night’s LA Clippers-Portland Trail Blazers playoff game, a fan wearing a Blake Griffin t-shirt asked to give a shout out on the microphone during a game break. He pulled an okie-doke on everyone in attendance when he shouted “The Black Mamba Kobe Bryant.” The man was met with a shower of boos from Clipper fans in the arena.
Unfortunately for us, the moment was not captured on the video, but the sports reporters that were in the building gave us some tweets chronicling the entire thing.
