Marshawn Lynch Is Kicking Off His Retirement Building Schools in Haiti

Marshawn Lynch shocked many when he decided to hang up his cleats and retire following the Seattle Seahawks 2016 playoff run. One of the strongest, most dominant running backs of the last few seasons, Lynch was certainly giving up at least one more serious pay day by calling it a career, but he seems to be anything but beleaguered or worried judging by his recent retirement moves.

Lynch recently traveled to Haiti with his former Seahawks teammates, Stephen Tulloch and Cliff Avril–the latter whose foundation, the Cliff Avril Foundation, is spearheading the operation–to hold a special football camp for kids in Haiti, pass out clothes and shoes to kids in need, and assist in the construction of a school. Below you can see some Instagram shots of Avril, Tulloch and Lynch engaging with the community and helping to distribute resources to residents of Avril’s parents’ native country.
