Kobe Bryant didn’t have an MVP year in his final season as a pro, save that unbelievable final performance at home against Utah, but that’s not stopping fans from declaring him “MVP” everywhere he goes, including Disneyland with his kids.
Kobe’s future in or around the NBA has been discussed ad-nauseum over the last few weeks, and he’s been rumored to be considering everything from a job as a host on TNT’s Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA basketball talk show to a coaching venture, but the Mamba himself has been pretty mum on what his post-Lakers plans are, aside from wanting to spend time with his family.
Well, Mamba, wherever you go, you’d better get used to this treatment. Despite the fact that he looks nothing like Stephen Curry, fans chanted “MVP” repeatedly as Kobe traveled through the amusement park, which is just an hour away from his L.A. residence.
