Both Justin Bieber and Desiigner have had awkward club/stage moments in recent weeks, but Thursday night their personalities collided briefly during a night of partying at New York City’s 1Oak nightclub. TMZ reports that Desiigner was performing his hit single, “Panda,” which is currently the #1 song in the country, for a packed house last night when his stage antics brought him a little too close to Bieber, who just performed two nights of his Purpose tour at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Bieber, who didn’t take too kindly to the Brooklyn rapper treading through his personal bubble, shoved Desiigner in the back, prompting Desiigner to quickly realign his position as he belted out the words to “Panda.”
Things didn’t escalate, at least not to the level of Bieber getting jokingly choked out by Post Malone, and there was reportedly no further confrontation between the artists. Desiigner was forced to leave the club after his performance, but that was due to him still being 19-years-old.
