It has been over a decade since the The Game fell out with 50 Cent and G-Unit, spawning a slew of diss records and vlogs. The drama has died down in recent years, with both parties going their separate ways, but clearly things aren’t all the way copacetic. This was evidenced by a photo taken earlier this year with The Game and G-Unit member Lloyd Banks in Dubai. 50 saw the picture and said that he was confused as to why Banks would do such a thing, especially since one of G-Unit’s own, Lodi Mack was killed as a result of the beef.
At every instance, 50 has shot down any possibility that he could ever reconcile with Game like he did with G-Unit members two years ago. Last night though, there was a glimmer of hope. DJ Drama took to his Instagram and shared a photo from the set of his video shoot for “Wishing,” his latest single featuring Chris Brown, Skeme and LyQuin. 50 Cent was on set and will presumably make a cameo in the video, having been included in Drama’s photo.
Affiliate of The Game and Blood Money signee Pharaoh Jackson also posted photos to his Instagram account, showing himself and Game at the very same location, The Hollywood Hills Residential. Moreover, the caption underneath his photo indicated that there may be a in reunion in the works. Jackson wrote: “The BEATLES AKA “G-UNIT” are joining forces again. G-UNIT aka the Hip-Hop Beatles TOOK OVER THE WORLD, BUT EGOS CAUSED THEM TO BREAK UP PREMATURELY….” He went on to wonder what a G-Unit movie similar to Straight Outta Compton would be like.
