We’re all aware of the relationship Lil Kim had with the late The Notorious BIG. Their rap mentorship escalated to a more intimate partnership that left the two Bad Boy labelmates in some sticky situations. BIG eventually married another Bad Boy labelmate, Faith Evans, which resulted in a feud between Kim and Evans. Even years after BIG’s death, Kim still wasn’t completely satisfied with the role the media and the music industry portrayed her to have played in BIG’s life.

Kim called into DJ Whoo Kid’s show on Shade 45 recently and spoke about her experiences on the Bad Boy Reunion tour thus far and it seems she’s finally found peace with the love triangle she participated in decades ago.

“At the end of the day, we’re family whether we like it or not, but we’ve always been fans of each others’ music. I think we are really sisters in a certain sense. I’m a part of the estate. She’s a part of the estate. We’re a part of Big, and we both share a lot in common… We all realized how strong we could be together.”

The two ladies of Bad Boy are touring the country together for the next few weeks for the highly anticipated tour. It’s good to know there will be nothing but positive vibes to celebrate the empire they both made legendary in their own rights.
