Last night [Thursday, June 2] Snoop Dogg stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss his upcoming album called Cool Aid. Snoop Dogg’s last album, Bush, came out in 2015.

Unfortunately, Snoop did not provide many details about the album, besides the fact it drops in July, and that he meant to use cool with a “C” and not a “K,” because he’s just plain cool.
Snoop’s previous album, Bush, was executive produced by Pharrell Williams and had a different vibe than the albums we’ve come to expect from the West Coast veteran. It will be interesting to see what sort of sound Snoop comes with on Cool Aid, and hopefully he reveals more about the album soon.
Snoop Dogg did perform two new singles, “Legend” and “Fireworks” on the show last night for the crowd outside Jimmy Kimmel’s studio. You can watch his performance of “Fireworks” below.
