We were struck with “Best Friend” back in the fall time of 2015. The song easily appealed to radio and had friendship statuses going way up. Ricky Racks and Yung Shad remained behind the production, which became a vital part of the song’s success.
“Best Friend” appeared on Thug’s first installment of Slime Season and was accompanied by a few fan favorites like “Power,” “Rarri” and “Again” featuring Gucci Mane. None hit harder than “Best Friend.”
Confirmed by the RIAA, “Best Friend” has moved over 1,000,000 units. Popularity wise, at the moment, “Hercules” and “Digits” may be Thug’s second and third-place bangers of the 2015-2016 range. Never ceasing his work ethic, we can expect Thug to bring in more hits over time.
