The Hot Boys member was signed to Cash Money in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. In 2004 he was arrested and charged with first degree attempted murder after shooting two officers during a drug raid. Turk, then 22, served eight years, eight months and 14 days of his 14 year sentence being released in October 2012. Upon his release he’s become a changed man, shaking his drug habits and all negativity from his life. Turk spoke with MTV News in 2012 about possible collaborations between Baby, Mack Maine, and himself. “It’s in the air right now that we working,” Turk said. “Mack Maine just sent me a song to get on with him and Baby, you know what I’m saying? So we ’bout to get it in. Then I’mma send them something, so they can get on something for me.”

In 2013, Turk spoke with HipHopDX regarding the possibilities of a Hot Boys reunion. He was unsure about a lot, but he knew that through God’s will it would pan out. “The heart of a man, it could change; sometimes it gets hard, sometimes it gets soft. And, when you dealing with a lot of money and you dealing with a lot of talent, you dealing with a lot of ego and pride. With that being said, I don’t know what God got in store for the old Cash Money clique…would there ever be a Hot Boys reunion. But, it’s all love. And right now, my situation, it’s just friendly competition.”
