With President Obama‘s presidential reign unfortunately coming to an end soon, he never fails to constantly show why we love him as our leader. Most girls can relate to being occasionally embarrassed by their dad, right? Well, Malia Obama can tell you first hand.
President Obama just celebrated his last Fourth of July shindig in the White House with the help of Janelle Monae and Kendrick Lamar, but he couldn’t finish the night without singing “Happy Birthday” to his baby girl.
Before ending his speech, he says: “And just because it’s a job of a father to embarrass his daughters, I’ve got one last job. It just so happens that we celebrate our country’s birthday on the same day that we celebrate my oldest daughter’s birthday.”
Obama then orchestrates the crowd in a “Happy Birthday” sing-a-long and Malia runs to the stage to thank her dad with a sweet hug.
