Indian Pacers Guard Jeff Teague Will Live in Parents Basement This Season

Jeff Teague was traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Indian Pacers. He’s now back in his hometown and signed a one-year deal with the Pacers for $8.8 million. Teague also has an endorsement deal going with Adidas, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be living with his parents during the 2016-2017 season.

During an interview with Fox Sports 97.5 FM, Teague spoke on his new role with the Pacers and also sharing the house with his parents. Teague actually purchased the house back in 2013 but he resigned with the Hawks, he gave the house to his parents.

“I always played for the Pacers. To have the opportunity like this is big for me,” Teague said in a press conference. I think my family and support system do a great job at keeping me sane.”

Teague might not be at his parents house for long, considering his contract is only for the 2016-2017 season. However, if his contract options change, who knows if he’ll end up purchasing his own home. More than anything, Teague is excited to be back in his hometown.
