Coach Twin made sure he was not trying to experience defeat once again on the biggest stage of them all. He reloaded and the end result was back on top of the mountain as champs.
Wednesday night at Dyckman was one for the history books for more reasons than one. Due to over capacity and fans not being able to create room for players to operate on the court, the championship game between Rodney Park & Skull Gang was almost reschedule. But as time went by, tournament organizer Ken Stevens was able to come up with a compromisable situation and the game went on.Rodney Park were undefeated heading into Wednesday’s game but it didn’t stop Skull Gang to come in and handle their business. It was action-packed, basket-trading matchup as low post play dominated the flow of the game. But at the end, thanks to San Antonio Spur point forward “Kyle “SloMo” Anderson” and Seton Hall big man Jeff Robinson, Skull Gang was able to out play and out managed the clock better than Rodney Park which led to a 54-49 win and the team’s 2nd championship in 3 years.
Major excitement was up in the air as the road to getting to the chip game was a adventurous one. Check out this footage of Kyle Anderson going for 30 and making a ridiculous buzzer beating 3 point shot which landed Skull Gang in the championship game.
