Last year marked Lil Wayne’s announcement of his departure from Cash Money Records due to financial issues he was having with Birdman.
The two planned to split $70 million out of a $100 million advancement from Universal, but Wayne never got it. He originally intended to allocate the money for “royalties, marketing and recording expenses.”
Birman’s lawyers coughed up more than 20,000 documents which Wayne’s legal team dubbed as useless. TMZ reported that a judge is now ordering Birdman to unveil the financial records that will explain where the large sum of money disappeared to. He has 30 days to do so.
