“Money Longer” might have been the song to propel the Philly rapper/rock star to higher levels, but Lil Uzi Vert’s “You Was Right” caught some heavy traffic as well.
“You Was Right” found its way onto the Billboard, peaking at 85 on the charts. Currently running back to no. 95 spot on the charts, its holding on its 12th week. A few months back, Metro Boomin took to his Snapchat to discretely show what he had going on for his day. It turned out — it was the set of the music video for “You Was Right.” The Scott Pilgrim-influenced visuals comes with some interesting artistic direction, as did the ones from Uzi’s “Money Longer.”
The 22 year-old artist has not given us any visuals from his Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World project, yet. But knowing Uzi, he’ll come up with something. His favorite track from the project is “Do What I Want,” which is produced by Maaly Raww and Don Cannon. Watch the music video below and enjoy.
