The latest addition to the booming Future R&B scene is PLAZA. His previous EP, ONE was a combination of relaxed vocals and an ode to being emotionally unavailable. His overall aesthetic on the tape was appropriately polished and stayed in it’s sonic pocket.
In the midst of these confusing days, PLAZA releases a new single labelled “Personal.” Instrumental is handled by a frequent collaborator CAMPTHIRTY. The song overall carries a contemporary falsetto that many artists from Toronto are famously known to hit the listeners with. It is soothing yet overly drenched in emotion that will have the listeners feeling hazy.
