South Beach was even hotter on Wednesday, June 14 the American Black Film Festival opening night premiere of Universal Pictures film, Girls Trip. The annual event, which showcases premiere talent and emerging artists alike to diversify the images and storytellers working in the entertainment industry, continues to be a platform for excellence.
Regina Hall, star of Girls Trip and the official brand ambassador for the ABFF, along with producer and director Will Packer and Malcolm Lee, walked the red carpet at Miami’s Olympia Theater.

The ABFF celebrates Hollywood veterans and emerging artists deserve the same opportunities as their mainstream counterparts. It is recognized as the premier pipeline for Black talent in front of and behind the camera.
