Living up to every word of her hit single “Bodak Yellow” Cardi B is indeed the hottest in the streets officially taking over the summer with win after win after win. Cardi released her summer anthem in June and it shot to the top of the charts currently peaking at No. 3 right under DJ Khaled, Rihanna, and Bryson Tiller’s “Wild Thoughts” track, as well as Luis Fonsi , Daddy Yankee, and Justin Beiber’s No. 1 hit “Despacito.” Although “Bodak Yellow” currently sits at No. 3 on the Billboard charts, it is officially RIAA Certified Gold and the highest charted song by a female rapper since Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda single peaked at No. 2 in 2014.
With such a hit like “Bodak Yellow” fans are on the edge of their seat as they wait for Cardi’s next drop — and from the looks of things we may not have to wait much longer. Today [September 4th], Cardi took to Twitter to announce her excitement for the song her and her rapper boyfriend, Offset of Migos, will be releasing any day now. She tweeted:

Cardi nor Offset have yet to confirm the official release date for their new song but the Twitter announcement alone was enough to hold us all over at least until Summer comes to a close.
In addition to cracking the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart, Cardi B has continued to make her grand debut to the world on multiple occasions just in case anyone possibly overlooked her. Most recently, Cardi has performed at the Floyd Mayweather vs. McGregor weigh in, the MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Show, and JAY-Z’s 2017 Made In America Festival in Philadelphia this past weekend. Not to mention, Cardi was able to meet and take a picture with Queen Bey during the festival which is another accolade in itself.
