Linkin Park, Ken Jeong Taped ‘Carpool Karaoke’ Episode a Week Before Chester Bennington Committed Suicide

Linkin Park released an episode of Carpool Karaoke on Facebook starring comedian Ken Jeong in memory of Chester Bennington, 41.

The episode begins with the comedian joining the musicians, and expressing his appreciation for the group. He even volunteered to be the group’s dancer and proposed they changed their name to “Lin-Ken Park” to incorporate his name.

Throughout the episode they sung a few Linkin Park classics including “Numb,” “In the End,” and “Talking to Myself” as well as song by other artists like Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” and The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “City of Angels.”

Bennington, the group’s lead singer was found dead on July 20, and this episode was filmed July 14. It ‘s crazy to think that after all of this singing and laughing, he hung himself a few days later. #RIPChesterBennington.
