Evelyn Braxton is blowing up Vincent Herbert’s spot after her daughter Tamar announced her divorce from her husband, mainly around the basis of domestic abuse claims.
The Braxton matriarch is vehemently adamant that Herbert, who manages rap queen Remy Ma, has been beating her daughter for years, even going as far as telling a TMZ reporter less than a month ago in LAX that Herbert had Tamar trapped in a violent, turbulent relationship for years and warned him “to keep his hand off her child before he kills her.”
Reportedly, Tamar went ballistic when the word got back to her that her mother revealed what was really going on behind closed doors of WETV’s “Tamar And Vince” show, which after seeing the fight in ATL’s Ritz Carlton, is undoubtedly in its last season.
According to Evelyn, Herbert claims that Tamar’s mouth is the the cause of his violent outburst that have forced her other daughters to attempt to intervene.
“It’s always ‘it’s Tamar’s mouth’…it’s always someone else. That does not give you the right to abuse her. Everybody has a mouth. Everyone should have the right to say what they want. Are you trying to beat [her] into submissiveness? No one has the right,” she said. “I think too many women are abused, and it’s high time that we stand up and stop this madness. Do you know how many women are killed each year? I just don’t want Tamar to be a part of that.”
