Jill Scott’s Ex-Husband is Countersuing Her for Pain and Suffering

First it was Kendu Isaacs, now it’s Mike Dobson. Dobson, the estranged husband of Jill Scott, now wants her to pay him for pain and suffering, half a million dollars to be exact.

If you remember, Scott and Dobson married in 2016, in a beautiful wedding that featured the great Big Daddy Kane as a performer. Their marriage was short lived, because a little over a year later, the Grammy award-winning singer filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences,” and that due to “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper.” The ex-couple signed a prenup, and now Dobson wants that thrown away.

Along with the $500,000, he wants the prenup to be removed, because it was signed without the presence of a lawyer, equal division of their assets, payment to his lawyer and does not want Jill to speak about him to the media. Dobson stated that Scott was “evil” and “treated him like an employee” during their marriage.

Dobson followed the footsteps of Kendu Isaacs, ex-husband of Mary J. Blige, who sued the Oscar nominated singer for spousal support. Isaacs first asked for $100,000 but only received $30,000 a month. Since then, he asked for an increase due to the fact that the singer now has more money available over the success of her new album. Her alleged “divorce” songs have made the manager believe he cannot find employment.

This divorce is getting ugly. Do you think Dobson deserves the money?
