A liquor store in Compton, Calif. captured a shoot-out between two men that left a 3-year-old boy dead. The shooting occurred late Saturday evening, and deputies say it was gang related, according to KTLA.
The footage from outside the liquor store shows a man walk out the store and open fire on a dark-colored sedan. The male in the dark-colored sedan then proceeds to open fire back. In the surveillance video there appears to be a vehicle where authorities said a toddler in a car seat was struck by a bullet.
The mother of the 3-year-old boy drove away from the scene, when a passenger in the car noticed the boy was bleeding. The shooter, 29-year-old Dwayne Christopher Ward who is currently on parole, turned himself in on Monday.
