Former First Lady and 2016 Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made a savage appearance at the Grammy Awards Sunday night. In a pre-taped segment, Grammy’s host James Corden auditioned different music artists to read quotes from the Michael Wolff book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B and DJ Khaled all read excerpts from the tell-all book that was documented from inside the White House during Trump’s first 100 days in office. At the start of her read, Clinton kept her face covered with the book while reading the passage and then lowered the book to reveal her face to viewers watching the Grammy Awards.
Hillary Clinton’s hilarious Grammy’s cameo drew a roaring applause and laughter from the Grammy’s audience. The tell all book was a scathing report from long time journalist Michael Wolff which brought a lot of attention and caused a stir in Washington when excerpts from the book were released. The book was actually forced to shelves early because of the high demand.
Wolff’s book became the reason why Trump’s former Chief Strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, was forced to leave his position at Breitbart news after criticizing members of the Trump administration in interviews with Wolff that ended up in the book. Smaller details about Trump’s personality were also revealed in the book such as his issues with people cleaning his bedroom and his tendency to snuggle in his bed by 6 p.m. with a cheeseburger.
Trump has strongly denied the various reports in the book while the White House has referred to the book as “trash” and “pure fiction.”
Regardless, the book seems to get under the President’s skin and was a perfect troll moment for Mrs. Clinton who lost a very heated election in 2016. Trump has yet to respond via Twitter.
