Wiz Khalifa previewed his new TM88 produced track “Best Life”, early this morning featuring Taylor Gang artist, Sosamann. Wiz in tandem teased the video for the song from inside the studio where the track may have been recorded. It is unknown if this track will be on an upcoming project, but Wiz has said previously that his Rolling Papers 2 album was finished, so perhaps this new released could be the first tracks from the sequel to his Atlantic Records debut. There is still no date on the release of the new album. The rapper is expected to release the full song Wednesday.

Wiz has been back on his grind with music after releasing the visual for the E. Dan produced track “Captain” on the first day of February. The track, currently at 1.2 million views on YouTube, was the first song he released since the 10-track Laugh Now Fly Later project he released in November which gave fans the single “Letterman.”

It is very possible that Wiz is prepping another mixtape or just testing the fan base to see what tracks work for the upcoming album. The “We Dem Boyz” rapper hasn’t released a full length LP since his Blac Hollywood album in 2014. Despite this fact, Wiz has still been in the spotlight music wise mainly because of the his hit song with Charlie Puth, “See You Again” which in 2017 became the most viewed video on YouTube. The song was recorded for the Fast and the Furious 7 soundtrack, and was meant to honor the series’ main character Paul Walker who died in a car accident during the filming of the movie.

With now two songs essentially released within a week, it seems like the “Black and Yellow” rapper is really getting in his bag and working hard on the next project.
