Gucci has been on a roll lately! From the recently-released SS’18 collection, to the new SEGA-inspired Rhyton sneaker they just dropped, the Italian luxe gods have really been doing some quality work when it comes to mixing high-end with the streetwear aesthetic. From the looks of this new Pre-Fall collaboration with the New York Yankees, they’ll probably be dropping heat all summer.

While the baseball caps will definitely be the standouts of this set — the patchwork is insane on some these! — there’s also beanies and wool scarves for the warmer days ahead. To be honest, these are so dope that it wouldn’t be a bad idea in the least bit to keep your scarf or skully on ice until November. The embroidery alone has people already making jokes about potential knock-offs in the works.

Here’s how Gucci describes the new line of headwear:

“Inspired by the customized Major League Baseball hats that have come to define Alessandro Michele’s looks, a special line-up of caps presented for the Pre-Fall 2018 collection combines the New York Yankees™ patch with emblematic House codes.”

Working on top of Bordeaux cotton canvas, the brand was able to incorporate butterflies, fawns, flowers and honeybees into the mix without losing the sportswear edge. The SEGA-themed “GUCCI” print even returns here in patch form. Overall, amazing job from a technical perspective.
