If you haven’t seen it yet, Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih recently dropped the visuals for “The Light” — the new single off the two R&B crooner’s upcoming joint album MighTY.
The video gives off endless vibes of having fun. As you watch it, both Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign set the ultimate summer mood, especially with the addition of the rollerblading rink. The project was first announced back in October 2017 during Ty’s interview with Zane Lowe while promoting Beach House 3, and he even said the duo laid down over 60 songs. “Next month, I’m dropping a whole other project with me and my brother Jeremih,” he said. “That’s like a full-length album. I’m so excited about that one. He did it with my bro Hitmaka. He produced the whole shit so it’s a consistent album of bangers.”
Ty was recently featured and wrote on some big projects this past month, including The Carters’ EVERYTHING IS LOVE album — he helped co-write the track “Boss” — Kanye West’s ye, Teyana Taylor’s KTSE and many more.
