In the new teaser for the new season many may have noticed that Lawrence was missing and while some fans have expressed they would like to see the character back Issa’s sentiment of “No, I don’t care” let fans know they should enjoy the product without her TV ex-boyfriend.

“We want to stay as true to life as possible. They had a great conversation at the end of season two and it was just about like, hey, she’s moving on Daniel, sometimes we have those conversations,” Rae said to Vulture from Insecure Fest in Los Angeles. “You never see the exes again. And it’s okay! You gotta explore life without Lawrence.”
