Fans have heard about the possibility of Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih album for quite a while. Producer Hitmaka teased it months back on the Joe Budden podcast and both artists teased it up to the release of their summer banger “The Light.” Now, feature king Ty has announced an official release date of August 24.
Hitting Twitter, Ty Dolla $ign kept the message short and tagged it with five drink emoji to let fans know the end of the summer will end just as hot as the start.
A couple of weeks back the duo released the video for their first official collaboration with the two hosting a parking lot party. Not much is known about the forthcoming project beyond Ty telling Zane Lowe the project will be a full length album.
